Smaller aircraft are often overshadowed by the larger and more impressive wide-body aircraft. But without the work of N877UA and the other 79 Airbus A319s, most of United Airlines’ flagships and several smaller cities would have to do without passengers. The model world is not that much different. Large wide-bodies are often unfairly favored over the short and medium range aircraft that outnumber them by far. The A319 in the current livery of one of the world’s largest airlines is now finally released to further expand the United fleet in 1/500.
