Pre-orders
What is a pre-order?
Many diecast models are limited editions and sell out fast, often before they arrive. A pre-order reserves your model from our allocation before it ships from the manufacturer. Most items in our Pre-Orders section list an expected arrival date, based on the latest information from the manufacturer.
How accurate are the arrival dates?
They're estimates, and manufacturers set them. Dates can shift due to production or shipping delays, and we update product pages when we get new ETAs. Some brands don't publish dates at all: InFlight200 pre-orders usually arrive 3 to 5 months after announcement, and JC Wings timing can vary.
When am I charged for a pre-order?
Pre-orders are charged in full when you place the order. This secures your model from our allocation, so you're guaranteed a piece even if the release sells out.
Can I cancel a pre-order?
Yes. You can cancel any time before your model ships for a full refund. Just contact us with your order number.
How will I know when my pre-order ships?
Your order shows as Awaiting Fulfillment until the model arrives at our warehouse. You'll get an email with tracking as soon as it ships.
Orders & Shipping
When will my order ship?
In-stock orders usually ship within 1 to 2 business days. Every model is packed with collectors in mind, so it arrives display-ready.
How do I track my order?
Use the tracking link in your shipping confirmation email, or visit our Order Tracking page.
Can I change my shipping address?
If your order hasn't shipped yet, contact us right away and we'll update it.
Returns & Damage
My model arrived damaged. What do I do?
Sorry about that. Start a claim at our Returns Center with your order number and photos of the model and the box, and we'll make it right. Need help? Contact us.
Can I return a model?
Yes. Visit our Returns Center to check eligibility and start a return in a few clicks.
Products
Are your models authentic?
Yes. We're an authorized retailer and buy directly from manufacturers and their official distributors. Every model is brand new and factory sealed unless otherwise noted in description.
How big is a 1:400 or 1:200 model?
It depends on the aircraft. Our Model Size Chart lists finished length and wingspan for about 60 aircraft types in 1:500, 1:400, 1:200, and 1:100 scale.
I can't find the model I'm looking for.
Let us know. We work with every major manufacturer and can often source models that aren't listed yet. Send us a request.
